The self-titled debut album from the band now known simply as Chicago. Released in 1969, this double album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist of the Year. The album peaked at number 17 on the US Charts and remained on the charts for 171 weeks, which beat the previous record of 151 weeks. The album produced 4 singles: “Questions 67 and 68”, “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”, “Beginnings”, and “I’m a Man”.
Joe Cocker – With a Little Help From My Friends
Joe Cocker’s self-titled debut was released in 1969. The album’s title track was originally written and recorded by the Beatles on the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
album. Cocker’s version was the theme song to the popular tv series “The Wonder Years”.
