Alice Cooper – Love It to Death
The third album by American rock band Alice Cooper, Love It to Death, was released in 1971 leading the band into the commercial spotlight. It is largely considered the quintessential Alice Cooper album that consolidated the band’s sound. Love It to Death would go on to be certified platinum by the RIAA and is often seen as fundamentally influential in genres such as hard rock, punk, and heavy metal. Hits from the album include “Caught in a Dream,” “I’m Eighteen,” and “Sun Arise.”
Alice Cooper – Killer
Alice Cooper’s fourth studio album Killer was released in 1971. It was successful commercially and would define the band in within hard rock as a genre. Killer would peak at number 21 on the Billboard 200 album chart and produced two top 100 tracks. Hits from Killer include “Under My Wheels,” “Be My Lover,” and “Halo of Flies.”
