Heart – Dog & Butterfly

The fourth studio album by the American rock band Heart, Dog & Butterfly was released in 1978 to nearly instant commercial success. Dog & Butterfly was a successor to Heart’s platinum selling album Little Queen the previous year. Dog & Butterfly would be certified double platinum and spent 36 weeks on the album charts which peaked at number 17 on the US Billboard 200. Dog & Butterfly hosts two hit singles by Heart such as “Straight On” and “Dog & Butterfly.”

 

Lionel Richie – Can’t Slow Down

Lionel Richie’s second solo studio album Can’t Slow Down was released in 1983 by Motown Records. Can’t Slow Down is Richie’s most successful album and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1985. Upon release Can’t Slow Down reached critical success and would go on to sell over 20 million copies. It was certified Diamond by the RIAA in the US and hosts five hit singles with two reaching number 1 on the charts such as: “All Night Long,” “Penny Lover,” “Stuck on You,” “Running with the Night,” and “Hello.”
