The Who – Magic Bus: The Who on Tour
The fourth American album by British rock band, The Who, was released in 1968. Unlike what the title implies, the album was constructed by studio recordings. The album received modest success and would peak at number 39 on the Billboard 200. The album hosts a handful of singles such as: “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” “Magic Bus,” and “Pictures of Lily.”
The Rolling Stones – Goats Head Soup
The Rolling Stones’ 11th British and 13th American studio album Goats Head Soup was released in 1973. Goats Head Soup received instant commercial success and achieved number one chart positions in the US, UK, and several other world markets. Goats Head Soup included a number 1 single as well in the form of “Angie.” Other hits on the album consist of: “Dancing with Mr. D,” “100 Years Ago,” “Coming Down Again,” “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo,” “Silver Train,” and “Winter.”
