Elton John and Brandi Carlile have had a momentous weekend, marked by the premiere of their collaborative short film and a dynamic performance on Saturday Night Live (SNL).​

On Friday, April 4, the duo unveiled Who Believes In Angels? Stories From The Edge Of Creation, a candid 30-minute documentary offering a behind-the-scenes look at the making of their new album, Who Believes in Angels?. The film premiered at 92NY in New York City, followed by a discussion featuring John, Carlile, longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin, and producer Andrew Watt. Fans can now access the film on YouTube. ​

The following evening, April 5, John and Carlile took the stage as musical guests on SNL, hosted by Jack Black. They performed two tracks from their new album: the title track, “Who Believes in Angels?”, and “Little Richard’s Bible.” Their performances were met with enthusiasm, showcasing their seamless collaboration and musical synergy. ​

These events highlight a vibrant period for both artists, as they continue to promote their joint project and share their music with audiences worldwide.​
