Justin Baldoni’s Apology Voice Note to Blake Lively Offers Insight Amid Legal Battle Justin Baldoni’s Apology Voice Note to Blake Lively Offers Insight Amid Legal Battle

A recently leaked 2 a.m. voice note from Justin Baldoni to Blake Lively has added a new layer to their ongoing legal dispute tied to the production of It Ends With Us. The message, recorded during a challenging moment in their collaboration, showcases Baldoni’s attempts to take accountability and reflect on his actions.

In the voice note, Baldoni addresses Lively directly, expressing regret over how he handled her input, particularly regarding changes she suggested for a key rooftop scene in the film. “I know I didn’t rise to the occasion, and you put so much effort into it,” Baldoni admits. He candidly adds, “I’m really sorry, I messed up,” emphasizing his desire to acknowledge his flaws and improve.

Baldoni also references Lively’s strong support system, which she has affectionately called her “dragons,” a nod to her husband Ryan Reynolds and close friend Taylor Swift. Rather than bristling at her remarks, Baldoni commends her circle, saying, “Everyone should have friends like that,” and praises their collective creativity.

This voice note comes as the two actors are embroiled in a legal feud. Lively has accused Baldoni of inappropriate behavior and emotional distress, claims that Baldoni denies. He has countersued for defamation, seeking $400 million in damages for what he asserts are baseless accusations.

The voice note provides a rare glimpse into the tension and humanity behind high-profile collaborations, highlighting the complexities of navigating both creative and personal dynamics under the spotlight.
