Parking in downtown Lafayette can be problematic on an ordinary day. On Festival International weekend, it can be an absolute nightmare. It’s just not worth the hassle. The easiest thing to do is take the free shuttle.
Park at Cajun Field and catch the bus. Parking will cost you $15.00. The form of payments accepted will be debit and credit cards. Buses run every 15 minutes, starting Thursday at 5 pm.
The full schedule:
Thursday’s first bus leaves Cajun Field at 5:00. The last return bus departs Lee and Barry streets at 11:00 pm.
Friday’s first bus leaves Cajun Field at 4:45. The last return bus is at 10:45.
On Saturday, the first bus rolls at 10:00 am. The evening’s final return bus departs Barry & Lee at 9:45 pm.
Sunday bus service starts at 11:30 am. The final return bus is at 7:00 pm.
