Happy Spring! Today, Wednesday, March 20th is the first day of spring and you can celebrate with a free ice cream cone!
It is also Ice Cream Cone day and to celebrate, Dairy Queen is offering free ice cream cones today! Yes, the soft serve ice cream in a small cone with the pronounced curl we all love so much!
How do you get the free small ice cream? It’s easy, stop into your favorite DQ and simply ask for it. The offer is available at any Dairy Queen or DQ Grill & Chill location that’s not in a mall, with a limit of one curly cone per person. And please notice the one-per-person and please do not ask for your cone to be dipped in chocolate. You’d have to pay for that. The offer is a free small vanilla ice cream cone at participating Dairy Queen’s. Let’s face it, the ice cream cone is always better if you dip in chocolate!
Locally there is one location in Lafayette at 5732 Johnston St. There are more locations in Rayne, Crowley, and Opelousas.
And according to Food and Wine, if you can’t make it to DQ today, they are offering almost free small ice cream cones through the end of the month. Get the DQ app and take advantage of the $0.50 cones via the Dairy Queen app from March 21 through 31.
