Harry Nilsson – Nilsson Schmilsson
1971’s critically acclaimed Nilsson Schilsson from Harry Nilsson was his most commercially successful album. Released by RCA records, the album produced three of his most popular songs, including the number 1 hit “Without You”, “Jump into the Fire”, and “Coconut”. The album performed well at the 1973 Grammy Awards, earning a nomination for Album of the Year, while “Without You” won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
Warren Zevon
Excitable Boy was released on January 18th, 1978 by Asylum Records. It is the third studio album from Warren Zevon and was his most successful album. It includes the hit single “Werewolves in London”, which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Charts and remained on the Top 40 for six weeks. The album is considered macabrely humorous by critics and includes songs like “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner” and “Nighttime in the Switching Yard”.
