A team of students from Lafayette Parish schools won a top award at a robotics competition in Kenner over the weekend of March 31st-April 2nd.
Robotics Phenomena 3616, composed of kids from Lafayette High, Comeaux, Paul Breaux, David Thibodaux, and homeschooled won the Innovation in Control Award. They competed against more than 40 teams from 5 states and Mexico.
Their mentor, Lisa Ranney told KATC “It was definitely a great honor and experience.”
